Lindsay R. Bremner, Ph.D.
I began editing professionally for an independent publishing house in 2000, working on manuscripts from both native and non-native English speakers in the fields of experimental psychology and quantitative geography. I subsequently focused on my own scientific research but continued to use my editing skills frequently to help friends and colleagues improve their grants, papers, and presentations. Helping other scientists publish their work or obtain funding gave me great satisfaction so, in 2014, I decided to leave the lab to pursue editing full-time.
I have experienced the process of academic writing and reviewing from many angles: publishing my own research in international journals, peer reviewing papers, and writing grants for government and foundation support. I am fortunate to provide quality editorial assistance to clients across the globe on a diverse array of subjects ranging from climate change to Parkinson's disease. I truly value the personal connection that comes from working closely with an author to bring a project to fruition. |
